Everyone is doing it, so why should Picket Lane Nursery start a blog? Thousands of our customers know us through the Fairs we attend, our Markets at Castle Cary and Crewkerne and Talks we give to so many clubs in the Southwest, but far fewer know we have extensive gardens open free to the public. That we propagate most of our stock on site or that we normally have 1000 varieties of plants on our sales tables through the season.

To achieve all this as a small family run business requires planning, dedication and commitment. What we do tomorrow will affect what happens in April or July, so we work with the weather, with the calendar, and with each season. What better way of sharing our year than with a blog?
